Join us for a special day of fun, connection, depth, visioning, and creative expression! *For therapists and helping professionals, we will also discuss how you could assist your clients using these specialized techniques.

At this time, we are nearing the end of the year of the Snake in the Chinese Lunar New Year (honoring release, rebirth, and renewal) and preparing to enter into the year of the Fire Horse (honoring transformation, passion and authentic expression). In this space we are able to connect with both the energies of the Snake and the Fire Horse through our creative expression while held in a supportive community experience.

During this workshop we will learn about the personal self-care practice and clinical applications of SoulCollage® and Expressive Wellness techniques as not only creative approaches for personal awareness and development, but also as powerful projective tools and psychological intervention in treatment. SoulCollage® is an expressive method designed to help individuals strengthen the often-muffled inner voices that live within each of us. Using the artistic/visual technique of SoulCollage®, the rational left brain is bypassed, and the unconscious becomes visible. This is a meditative, creative process that can be used in a personal self-care practice, in groups, or individual sessions. These creative tools are used in a variety of clinical settings with a range of populations such as eating disorders, trauma, couples and family work, addictions, etc.

Those who complete this workshop will:

*Define the SoulCollage® process using the four suits in a SoulCollage® deck

*Personally experience the SoulCollage® process through card-making

*Personally experience several Expressive Wellness techniques

*Gain a basic understanding of the Committee Suit

*Identify therapeutic situations which are likely to respond well to the SoulCollage® and Expressive Wellness interventions

*Gain practical information regarding materials and other resources for SoulCollage®
